Hey John:
I wanted to send you the body of the email I sent to Mr. Manes.

I would like to take a moment to speak with you concerning the best boss I have ever had. John Gilleland is that man. Under his supervision, I became a better organized, more knowledgeable, team player. He always did his best to make sure his staff was well prepared for whatever was thrown at them.

My insurance experience spans 21 years. However, the better part of my knowledge was gained while working for John Gilleland. There was never a question asked of him that he was not prepared to answer. He is a good man with a good heart: dependable, knowledgeable, fair but tough. He expects great things from his employees and works hard to prepare them for their career. I know that I have a much better understanding of the insurance industry and have advanced in my career and knowledge as an underwriter because of John Gilleland.
